HashPlant... pheno #13... special cutting... tracing back to Spain, so I heard... nothing to do with Sensi's HP... or G13 hybrids...

In flowering I can see the sativa influences in this one... until the 5th week the buds grew in length... thin, long and fluffy... from the 5th week on, the density increased and more trichs formed... now 7 weeks have passed, still most haires are white... and more calyxes sprouting... getting more mass!

Thought this one would finish in 9 weeks... 60-65 days... but now, at week 8, it is looking like it can go some longer... she is still thursty so I keep feeding her... as Soma confirmed this cutting can flower 10-11 weeks... getting better... and weighing more...

From vegging on, I've been beating off the powdery mildew... which seems to be on the mom... and this cutting is real prone to it... right until the start of week 8, I've sprayed with some bacteria... to eat the fungus... but the risk of an outbreak keeps lurking...

Testing my patience... I will start flushing next week... 2-4 weeks to go... sorry, no pics... maybe later...

Soma is crossing HP#13 with his Lavender... HashHeaven... and he rolled a joint with the two parenting strains to share the taste he's looking for... he was talking about orange trichs... yum... and he said something about his G13Haze...

Getting back to my little room, his remark start making sense... as the aromas are developing something like candy, hash and haze!... now I'm fantasizing on HP#13 x G13Haze... HashHaze169... what is your dream?

there is a large articel in Cannabible I and Jason mentioned it had topped the price for gold ! [ 8000 $ a pound and UP !!!! ] and that it was brought back from Afghanistan (hippi hashish trail) and grown out , aannnnnd an nice amount was brought to A´dam for entering the cup some years ago and the organizers seized the weed and it never met any judges hand !

"This strain is called hp13 or hashplant #13. The inner circle of pot snobs lucky enough to have access to it simply refer to it as "p". The pure indica strain originated in afghanistan and was surely inbred for generation by a proud family line of afghanis in some remote valley of the pakistani/afghanistan mountain range. Then in the late 70's as more and more westerners travelled the infamous hippy hashish trail, some of the magical genepool was brought to america in the form of seeds. The strain stayed in california for a while and eventually made its way to new york city of all places, where it is commonly sold for twice the price of gold ($8000 a pound and up!). I paid $115, which was actually considered a "bro deal,"and in all honesty, it was toatlly worth it. The ashes of this bud tatse better than the green hits of most other "kind" bud. It's so strong that many experienced smokers cant handle it, and have paranoid or nauseous reactions. A sizeable amount of this herb was prought to the cannabis cup in '94, but it was so good that certain organizers, who shall remain nameless, hoarded it and therefore never made it to the judges. This defenitly falls into the "psychlogical effects" catagory.

Sure sounds like I'm in for a treat... again... and for the lineage, its tracing back to Afghanistan... inbred by a local family... I bet they know their stuff!

You posted that the sativa influences coming through in flowering, then you stated it's a pure indica. Was is crossed along the way or something?

i think the longer flowering time cope with the lesser lumens a bulb produces compared to the sun in Afghani - pakistani border ! ( think every sqf higher the lumen strength rises exponentially ! )

Exact parentage is unclear to me... obviously this is more of an indica dominant strain... though it has some sativa influences... no idea if its just this individual plant or how how much sativa is bred in... yet, flowering 9 weeks or more is a long time for a pure indica... also the thin leaves formed during flower... as well as the trichs that seem to be of the stalked type... are indicators of some sativa influence...

Ya know, at first I didn't know what was gifted to me... the clones suffered from mildew... outbreaking already in veg... leaves totally covered with white hairy nasty powdery mildew... damn, I nearly pulled them... also in flower, she didn't impress me at first... now, I'm guessing she is a slow starter as buds start fattening in week 8... as I thought she would finish in 9 weeks, I started to look for more info...

Now I've found this quote from the cannabible... and with the aroma's developing in my room... I know she must be special... sorry I didn't keep a cut... and have already planned my next grow with another strain...

you know you got the real hp13(or at the very least the jackcross) by the smell, it just has a rancid tuna or perhaps garbage skunk smell, i've been able to smoke a vegangrown version for the past few years but just recetly did i find a bean which is currently veggin. HP13 STINKS and is a very standout looking plant as well.

Ow, I'm sure I've got the real deal... trusting my source... I just didn't know about her reputation and ancestory... now in the 8th week of flower, I like her smell... candy, hash and haze!... and more aromas in the mix... bits of all the mentioned skunky, garlicky, salty, spicy, hashy smell... complex!

Worries are on the powdery mildew... close to outbreak... today, I rubbed the worst spots clean with Preventief from Plagron...

This plant got me interested to its roots... and I've learned a lot of the Pre-Sovjet Afghani thread... where zamalito and others are sharing some good info...

Thanks for your support, guys!... I'm needing it!... think I'll give her another spray with Preventief and some more leaf bacteria... like Vital, Preventief also brings down de pH on the leaves... making the surfarce hostile to mildew... weird, spraying against fungus in the finishing phase... I can't get it off, yet hoping it won't spread further... at least one more week to go... if it gets from the leaves on the stems and into the buds, I will have to cut these infected buds early...

Some more info on HP I've received by PM... with this description in mind I stepped into my room and I could smell something tuna, indeed... still not too stinky... and a correction, this cut didn't take the Spain route... it comes from the US... pic will follow...

HP/HP#1- this stuff was a big hit in the east, esp. for the delivery services(only those privi to the services that delivered this stuff) - the dudes who had the deisel back in the early/mid 90's also had a connect for this smoke.

Probably the most unique nugs ever to come across, had a real brown/grey/rusty look to them, almost like a purer haze. Definelty stunk up an entire area w/i seconds after breaking open a nug, amazingly pungent smell of tuna garlic and skunk, one of the most powerful.

HP13 - definetly had links to the real deal hashplant and was a good amount more potent, def was different from the orig. hp in that it had a medicinal smell/taste on top of that pungent tuna smell, this stink was very much on par to the ripe/raw pungent skunk smell of the headband deisel(very rich/syrupy smelling skunk, luscious)-unbelievable taste, just like hash w/ super skunky overtones that passed over into the smoke. and yes, they did get a shitload of $ for the herb cause it didn't yield great. - this herb could stand side-by-side w/ all the elite/unique herb such as bubbak, ogk, sourd and others on that level, mighty mighty fine.
