We have all been really high and made some dangerous mistakes in our lives. Some were close calls, others not so lucky. Share your arrest story here so we can all laugh, and learn. What is behind us should stay behind us.
In October 2005 I was going to a Wine Supply store (another passion of mine) and it is in a part of a town I do not know that well. It was a busy Friday commute on the Interstate. I missed my turn to the wine place, so I took the next exit and it spilled directly into a military base. The old grey rent a cop at the gate asked me what I was doing and I told him. He asked for my license, I figured what the hay, why not. When he got my license he pointed out the cold frosty bottle of Heineken in my console and asked me to drive onto the base. He took my keys and called the MPs. They all screwed it up like the monkeys on a football. They were dropping and breaking things etc. I refused to take a Breath Test (Although I was not intoxicated). I had felt they were out of their jurisdiction and were not following the correct procedures. I was right, but it had to go to court, and it cost me $4k to defend myself. Not taking the breath test made me lose my license for a year too. So something so stupid got me arrested. I spent a little while in the militarty brig too. I am not ready to laugh about this quite yet, but soon I hope. $4k is a lot of ice cream cones.
