I mixed 1 tsp of Epsom salt to a gallon of water, and watered the plants with it.

It's a good idea to mix some hot water with the salt first to dissolve it, and dont forget to PH the water:)

Only use the epsom salt if you're sure the def is caused by an absence of mag, and not ph issues in the soil.

Best way I know is to use epsom salt at 1 tsp/gallon. (It's cheap, natural and relatively fast acting. Get it in the Rx section at WalMart.) Dissolve it in water and apply to the soil.

I prefer not to spray plants when they're flowering because I don't want anything to affect the development or the taste of the buds.

Not to mention the ever-present danger of mould

I use molasses. It is basically a natural cal-mag +.It is safe to use any time, even foliar feeding.I would be careful of the buds though. You don't want mold. Some say that it improves the taste too.It is inexspensive, available everywhere and really can't do any damage to the plant.

I use Eps. salt but I mix it in the soil before potting plants..for def while in flower I would buy Cal/Mag and just add to water during feeding..very easy to use and the plant can use the mag fast than salt form.. :joint:

Ya, like the peeps in this thread the normal dosage is 1 tsp per gallon of water.

Smaller plants like 3 weeks old 1/2 teaspoon per gallon.

4 feet + 2 tsp or more depending on the size.
