Almost finished setting up my new room, except I can't decide where to put the bigass air conditioner and bigass carbon filter. What's the safest/best way to hang these from the ceiling/wall?

Big bungies? Earthquake straps? Rip stop nylon strapping? Chains?

How 'bout plain old fashioned shelves. For the filter, cut a hole in the shelf just larger than the duct flange. The flange will go through the hole but not the filter which would be supported by the remaining shelf. Or a number of eye hooks screwed into the filter and suspend with chains.

I just got done hanging my can 150 from my ceiling. You'll need to anchor the rope to the ceiling, then it runs down to one pulley on the filter (tied on with a rope) up to one side of a double pulley on the ceiling, back down to another pulley on the filter (on a rope) back up to the second half of the double pulley, then down.

Two pulleys, one anchor, one double pulley, 50' of good rope. I can easily lift it myself. Google search for block and tackle or rope hoist for diagrams. Cost me $40 and it's totally out of my way, sucking hot air off the ceiling.

Never hung an AC before, but have hung a few carbon filters. I used these giant 3-4 foot long zipties that I have...
