Hi y'all!
I have a little issue here I need some help with. So I've got 3 tent in a room, 1 hydro, 2 soil. This is my first hydro, before that I only had soil setups. The hydro tent consists of:
1,2*1,2*2m DarkRoomV2 grow tent
Viparspectra P1000 LED 3x
VKO fan 360m3/h inflow 2x
VKO fan 540m3/h outflow 2x
Carbon filter Prima Klima Industry line K1604 2x
32" 180°rotating ventillator
20L aluminium covered bucket 4x
Aquaking ak2-30 airpump 1800L/h
4 Bruce Banner Feminized 7 weeks since germination.
So the problem is the humidity. After I upgraded the first tent to hydro, I started to notice mold growing on the wall, also some humidity on the windows and walls. I had to install a dehumidifier into the room along with the AC (already been there) to control the humidity as well. The dehumidifier has a 20L tank, which I have to empty every 3 days. 20L in 3 days!! That's a lot of water/humidity. I grew in this environment before so I am 100% sure it is because of the hydro setup, had no issue like this before. Now I would like to upgrade my other 2 tent to hydro as well but I'm worried about the humidity. If this keeps going on I have to instal another dehumidifier and to be honest it's energy consumption is pretty much equal to the the lights...
Tent isn't crowded, its properly trimmed and trained. Can't figure out whats the problem.
So what to do? What's the issue here, why do I have so much humidity and how to prevent it. The buckets seals good, the only exposed area is the clay pelletts, which is not much to be honest.
ps.: Living in central europe.
TIA
