Title says it all. I just want to post pics but I want to do it in a manner that would make it difficult for unwarranted eyes to see what the pics are. I heard photobucket is good but I'm looking more for a free proxy server site. any suggestions? +rep for responses

I've never posted pics myself but i read somewhere that some camreas contain EXIF data, that others can download form your posted pics.Im not sure what EXIF is or what it contain. But you should do a search on it,on icmag, and if you dont find what youre looking for google it.Hopfully someone will chime in and fill us both in on safe ways to post pics. Also do a search for "TOR".It is supposed to be a good free proxy.

Here is what you do...

Open picture in viewer.
Press the PRINT SCEEN key.
Open MSPaint or Paint, past and crop, save as .jpg file and upload your pic. Safe.

If you have windows 7; just rightclick picture, properties, and edit the metadata. If not there are freeware metadata/exif removers/editors out there.

For uploading i suggest you use tor or atleast use https://icmag.com

What prevents you from uploading your pictures on to ICMAG's server?

You heard Photobucket is good?

You must read their privacy policy....before you believe hearsay.

paranoia of someone being able to see what I am posting other than the members of this community

Someone will always see something somewhere.

If you want to have pictures sitting @ a safe location upload them to ICMAG's server.

If you don't want anyone seeing anything anywhere...don't post nothing nowhere...lol

this perhaps is what you looking: hidemyass.com/upload
In my option taking pics is just for the EGO, there is no point other than showing others (I mean everybody) to look how GREAT man I am. You re taking proofs by yourself for police-court. There is always exceptions, but it's mostly meant for the EGO.

And what's your point?

What's wrong having others admire the hard work the posters often are unable to share with their immediate surroundings?

PS: You are discriminating...there are great female growers/breeders posting their PICTURES here as well.

If you upload to ICMag then a person must have an ICMag account to view the pics. You can also set your album(s) to Private and then only people on your ICMag friends list can see them.
