How to make pictures big

All of the pictures that I put in my threads from my albums show up small. They can be viewed larger by clicking on them, and then they open in their own window.

I want the pictures to be large in the original post.

I've tried re-formating the picture before uploading it to the correct mb size, but this only makes the picture smaller in the new window when you click on.

A lot of people will not click on a small pictures or any link for that matter within a thread posting.

How do I make my pictures BIG the first time?

Should I try shrinking the image within the mb restraints, saving it and then enlarging it?

I do know how to get the picture in the post, its just that it is small and I want it big.

If you see well, you can almost see everything in the small picture, but if you click on the small picture, you can see it large in a new window. I don't want people to have to click on the small picture to see it large, I want it large in the first posting.

when you're writing a post,you can find the small button named - [insert] -

When you click on it a pop up window will appear,now you have to select the format size by clicking at the top right where you find the menu.
If you don't change this your image will be as you described it,but if you change this option you can choose within several options...every option will be view different from the other in a post.
