Hi all,
I've harvested recently(first timer) and am up for using all my leaves for hash. Any advice on how I make ice o lator or bubble hash without spending shit loads of money....? Thanks to all in advance.
Peace.
Your gonna have to get a bubble bag kit, I googled "cheapest bubble bag kit" and found a 5gal 4 bag kit for 29.99, a five gallon bucket is 5$, ice is free....super cheap

There's also Sadhu Sam's ice water method, look it up, it will produce ice water hash with a few simple kitchen tools....here's a basic version of Sam's idea...Put frozen plant matter and lots of ice in a blender (or in a container and shake it or in a bucket and stir it), pour in enough much water so it blends, after a minute or two of slow blending (or longer if hand stirring) pour the liquid through a flour sieve or another fine sieve or mesh you have in the kitchen into a bowl, the sieve will catch most of the plant matter. Let this liquid sit undisturbed and you will see the resin (and other plant matter) fall down as sediment. carefully ladle or siphon out the top 50% of liquid and floating plant matter, making sure not to stir up the bottom sediment, there's very little resin floating in the top half of this water, a vast majority will sitting on the bottom of the bowl (use a transparent bowl or bottle so you see the layer of sediment). You can use a coffee filter to separate the liquid from the sediment/resin or use a fine mesh that is 25 ~ 45 micron. Scrape the resin off the coffee filter and spread it thinly on a sheet of cardboard by "chopping" it with the edge of a credit card or blade then leave until dry enough to smoke, freeze the cardboard so the resin comes off the cardboard easily. I just did this an hour ago (still waiting for it to dry). I actually have several sets of Bubblebags, but they are packed away (deeply), I harvested a moldy little plant today that was a 3 weeks from being ripe, popped it in the freezer and blended it....got a gram or two of good quality "mud" and a couple of grams of low grade "mud".
Repeat the process while the coffee filters are draining to get a second grade of ice hash.
Blenders are harsh and will cut up everything into a pulp, hand stirring or hand shaking of a container will produce a purer result as will following Sadhu Sam's method step by step..
but no matter how well you do this, you will still have much better purity, quantity and efficiency using Bubblebags, but if cash is short, try buying just a 120 Micron bag and a 25 micron bag online and use a flour sieve before pouring the stirred plant matter/liquid through the 120 bag to catch most of the plant matter.
