How to keep a mother

You can clone anything the question is wether to or not to. Just know that whatever you clone is exactly as old as its mother and in the same stage be it flower or veg. How longs it been in flower and whats the point to taking this clone?

Short answer is no. In the sense of traditional auto-flowers. If you are using a light sensitive strain, sometimes called autos, then the answer may be yes.

There is no way to keep a AF mother because the mom has to be veggin at all time. That Af will bud regardless what light you give it.

Yup. Thought so. Kinda stupid question. Oops, sorry. I'm ripped. Took me at least 10 minutes to type this.

If you could get the cut strain auto affy yes. Only available in clone form though. This is not a true auto if kept under 24 hours of light it will not flower anything lower then 24 it will. This is not from personal experience just lots of great reviews.

anytime you take a clone from a flowering plant you have smaller chance of success. Whenever you cut a plant in flower depending on how far into flower it is, it will make a choice whether to grow roots or finish budding. sometimes roots will never grow the flowering cycle will try to finish instead of it using hormones to make roots.. the only time i found this useful is if u wanted to polinate a female, you can cut the male and put it in a glass of water it usually keeps making pollen sacks instead of roots..

You can but is useless with true AF.
Lets call AF only true autoflowering strains.
"Semi-autoflowering" its just a commercial word to sell more seeds imho.
You can clone and keep vegging extreme light sensitive strains like GG#3 with a proper light schedule but they're in another league... not AF

Peace
