HOW TO GROW ROCNUGS

HOW TO GROW ROCNUGS: Ever wonder what it'd be like to have calyxes stacked one atop another with no leaf? Discovered by accident, this is The Blaster! How to Do It: 1st, most harvest by pulling the plant & hanging; the rest clip buds & dry individually, which is a Must Do for this method to work: Clip all your buds, leaving only 2 or 3 leaves at The Bottom of each bud, then Allow to Continue To Flower....The calyxes begin to grow over each other (stacking) with No Leaf! Then, after a couple weeks, harvest these & you have Awesome Dense Hard ROCNUGS, that must be well dried & cut into small pieces to smoke, because of the intense hardness! Perhaps not all strains can do this, but I presume it's a Growing Response (kinda like the FIM technique, discovered accidentally). Anybody who hasn't encountered this phenom, should pick a favorite plant & give it a try...A True Connoisseur's Treat! :joint:

Sounds interesting. I think its growing that way because it only allows one node of growth after that clipping you were talking about...? Like the plant puts all its flowering energy into those few nodes all over the plant, and spurts out long foxtail-like nugs?

Can an expert get in on this? Sounds interesting fpr headstash.

The information given is far too vague, giving me the impression that he hasn't accomplished this technique himself. (ie: at which point in flowering are buds "clipped")
I don't like chunky, thick buds because they are "rock hard", but because of the potency which they carry.
If a plant can't produce thick, chunky nuggets on it's own, I'd rather not stress it out just to create some possible "bag appeal".

EasyBakeIndica: Well, yes, I accidentally did this on one potent Crystal Matrix (THLabs) girl, right after I harvested her...I had to let her wait while her sister was finishing, because she was soo good I thought I'd try to reveg her...things just happened while I waited, and I was quite suprized with the results! The nugs you get this way have a somewhat different high, & seemingly stronger. I'll do it again next time (new gro goin').

bubbamizak / Levitikuz: I'll try to make it clearer: It's Harvest Time, all the buds are Done, you're ready to clip ALL the buds & dry them: do so, just leave 2 or 3 leaves at THE BOTTOM of each bud & Let Her Continue To Flower, instead of throwing the empty stalk & plant root out! Easy! Some folks like to reveg a nice plant (I do, too, occasionally); well, with This Method, you can't reveg. Just do like it says, and let her sit in the gro rm, and in 10-14 days, she'll have produced Rocnugs for you! It's then time to clip 'em all, dry thoroughly (cure & savor), and Thow Out the plant, as this technique just gives you the Last Little Bit of Goodness she had left in her. If she was a fav, you'll probally already have taken clones, and All Is Well. Very Simple. It was just a matter of timing that caused me to discover this, and wow, it might sound fishy or wild, but it's not, just a matter of knowing & personal desire to get that last little bit of (CONNOISSEUR) bud from her. Do this once, you'll be a believer; believe me! :joint:

So how much bud did you actually get from this discovery? Just a couple extra grams, or what?

I kind of got lost. He's saying to cut the buds to dry, and leave a couple leaves on the bud and then continue to flower the the stalk. I think what he really means in when you cut the buds, leave a few leaves on the NODES, (to catch light). Then again he might mean instead of harvesting the buds, just trim away all up a few leaves on the buds and continue to flower the stalk/main stem with the leafless buds intact. I think I would rather remove the used up stalk and move my vegging plants into the flowering space.

A better method (IMO) would be to due "partial harvests" where you cut the buds down at different times, starting from the tops and working your way down. This is especially advantagous when you're working with an uneven canopy.

For instance, with some strains you can harvest the tops at 50-55 days with good potency and resin, but still wait to harvest the bottom half of the plant until the plant fully ripens around 70 days. This can increase the yield greatly in sativa-leaning hybrids.

Hashplant grows rock-hard nuggets. They're so dense that it sounds like you're dropping a stone on the table when you drop a 1g bud. I don't think my hazes or even skunks would ever match that.

Easybakeindica, I second that, if you want tight nugs, grow a strain that produces them. Better off using those 2 weeks to get your next cycle going. Will get more bud in the end. Though if I knew this was my last crop ever, than this technique could be usefull to milk the plant for all it's got. I've heard of people doing this with their outdoor crops. I also heard that it doesn't work, better leave the plant all of it's green, that's where it gets it's energy from. If it's ripe already then wouldn't it over mature and loose potency???

WTF are you talking about?? not switching light cycles from 12-12 when re-vegging??
So.....The little buds left suddenly shoot out these "rocnugs" and at 10-14 DAYS....mature f@cking buds.....RIIIIIGHT......we want pics or gthafukatahr
