how to donate to a dispensary

i tried searching to no avail. i have a bunch of clones cut and rooting, they were going to be used by me, but i had to hold off on starting this new set-up. how do i go about 'donating'/selling them to a local dispensary?? is it the same for buds?? is there a minimum amount?? i am a medical rec holder, and have been to a few dispensaries near me, but i don't go to them much at all. pretty much just smoke my own, or trade with friends. do i need some other type of vendor license or something?? or is being a rec holder and a member of a collective/dispensary enough?? not looking to do this all the time, just once in a while...

Call them up and tell them you have some stuff you want to get rid of. If they have never heard of you they probably won't touch your stuff (clones) with a ten foot pole, well, unless they are one of the many unreputable ones, then they will take anything you have.

Wording is everything in a Legal sense-- You "Donate"...but you get paid for your time and materials used--

I dont get anything when I donate. Its all free. Lately I have not donated any as there is no place to donate to.

so thats it call em up, ask, bring them down and negotiate a price??

and btw- i have donated products for free, just not to a dispen./collective, only direct to patients...

You have to have a rec and yes they look, some places have you sign up to join the dispensary and they verify your rec...that goes for anyone coming in to the shop, whether to buy meds or vending meds.

thanks for the responses everyone... so, from what you wrote, i just call around, become a member/ just call where im already a member, go there, and negotiate??? would you reccommend maybe only bringing a few samples with me to negotiate with, then bring all the products back after we agree on something??

Defiantly call first, the person that does the vending may only be there on certain days...and yea just take a sample to show them unless you've done vending before and they know your product. But that will mean a second trip if they want to buy some of your meds.

if you got the goods it shouldnt be a problem.

i had never vended before and went into a place with 70 cuts, all fully rooted and at least 6-8" tall, no clipped leaves, just beautiful.

i went in thinking 5$ a piece would make me happy, and thats what they offered me straight off the bat. also, i showed them samples of the finished product and they were practically begging me to bring in pounds of the nugs.

can you still vend to dispensaries as an independent, or is it such that they all pretty much grow their own/have their preferred growers at this point?

Just curious.
