How to discuss MJ without calling it "MJ"?

So if i wanted to contact lets say a manufacturer of a medium im growing my ladies in, what would i refer to when they ask "what kind of plants are you growing so i can help you further?" I would say? "oh the plants im growing are in this(category)_____ and love this(nute)____ and that(nute)______ so on and so forth", fill in the gaps?

Most times I hear tomatoes or fruits in general as the code word for pot.

Hydro stores and companies that manufacture grow supplies will never ask you what kind of plants you're growing. They don't wanna spook you or make you uncomfortable because they know what you're doing.
