how to cure

Curing needs to take place in an airtight container and in a cool dark place from what I understand. I suppose if you took some really good jars and burried them a couple feet in the ground that would work, but keep in mind you will have to open the jars on a daily basis, so that could get aggrivating. One of the users here on IC covers his jars in those crown royal bag's that cover liquor bottles, I keep my jars in the cardboard box they came in. If you have a garage or someplace similar you could just stash the box there.

Curring can be done many way's but simple to do in a wooden box or plastic tub with a lid like a rubbermaid or tuperwere. A glass or plastic mayo jar or penutbutter or margerin tub.

Hope it help's
