Is it a Multi-tap? Replace 120 cord with 240. White and green connect as before. Black to 240 instead of 120.

It depends on your exact ballast make/model. Some are designed exclusively for a certain input voltage. (Typ. 120 or 240 VAC) While others have separate taps on the transformer to accommodate different input voltages. Like I said...It depends on the model.

You need to identify your ballast to answer your question. Is there any identifying markings on your ballast? How about a picture of the available terminals? Providing this information will-"help others to help you.":joint:

you probably need to open the case up and look inside. Off the transformer, there may be several un-connected wires. If so, they may be marked 240, 277, 480 etc. you need the one marked 240 and switch it with the one marked 120 already connected

If there are no extra wires, you probably cant switch.

Also be careful in there, I heard the capacitor can store a charge
