I think light also plays a role in yield. My buds get close to 20,000 lumens, but they tend to dry up fluffy instead of dense.

I would have to agree if you have the space mine as well veg for the full 2 months and get some real yield out of your plants.

Of course light plays a role in yield, so does the number of plants. I had about 20,000 lumens on my first grow, but only 1 plant, the buds were not fluffy at all, and very dense.

I top my blockhead cuts a few days after transplanting into 4 inch pots then once again about 2 weeks before switching to 12/12,this really increases yield on columnar strains I've found

One thing that MAY play a role here is the quality of your clone and the plant it came from, when you took the clone, things like that. It COULD play a role but, yeah, veg longer equals better yield. How long did you veg the first go round?

The plant will tell you when it's ready to go into flower. There are so many different strains that it's not really possible to say veg for so many weeks. Do some reading about the plant and that'll give you the guide lines for your growing questions

Sounds very good advice to me, i don't know if is actually correct' anyone to back him up or deny it ?

if a plant is not 100 percent healthy when put into flower it will show in the yield....healthy roots its all about the roots...im stoned as hell

it all depends on how much head room you have , what strain your growing and what amount you want, common sense will tell you when to throw the 12-12 switch.

What is Toping? Also why I am at it, what is Scroging?

Thanks

Topping is just that...taking the top growth on a cola. It encourages more side branching and more top colas. Scrogging is SCreen Of Green meaning you grow your plants into a screen to encourage more buds to grow above. This time the basic info is free, Microwido. The next time you are sold into bondage to Yummybud to be his love slave. Use the search...lol

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

When Old Fool says "taking the top growth on a cola" he means, cut it off.

Scrog is a form of LST. The top shoot sends a signal to the rest of the plant to get behind it and stay there. The rest of the plant obeys. Cut off the top and the next two take charge and send the same signal. BUT, if you bend the tip over, something happens to the signal. It gets lost, broken, ignored and every stem decides it's going to be the top shoot and takes off. Whether that's good or bad depends on your growing area and methods.
