How secure am i?

I don't own a car, and the hydroshop is a mile or so from my place, so i have trouble getting my coco and soil back to my house. I have gone to allsorts of lengths to get it in the past, which is hard, as i can't just ask people for a lift, as i don't want anyone to know i grow. I've walked home with a 50litre sack ina binliner before, which was not half back-breaking. And i've walked a distance from the hydroshop and got a taxi even with the soil in a binbag and then dropped off half way up the street to he can't see what house i go in to.

Needless to say, this is all starting to do my head in. And i see all this coco and soil for sale on thje internet, and it's bloody cheaper than what i pay allready.

But, i worry. As i don't look like your average horticulturist, so having 50litre sacks of hydroponic grade coco and organic soil mixes delivered to the house and then i answer and sign for them, i'm sure even the most retarded delivery dude would be like "GROW HOUSE!"

Does anyone else order this kind of shit off the internet? Does ot come all wrapped up so you cant see what it is? Do ylou ever get funny looks?

I did order yoyo plant supports, 20 4.5 litre pots and a bloom stimulator off ebay before, and they weren't even wrapped up so you couldn't see what they were, and the guy was smirking at me like he knew what was up. Never heard nothing back, and was ages ago, but that could just be lucky to get a cool guy who dont give a shit.

I'm in the UK by the way. So probably not as dodgy as the US, but still makes you pull a whitey when you sit back down and think about it afterward. Can't bear all that stress again. LOL.

Anyone know ahy good places that do disguise what is in the packages, even if its a big ole sack of soil or coco? I've been looking at progrow.co.uk, which seems allright, i ordered my fan and filter set from there and that came in a carboard box, but thats just standard. Does anyone know if they wrap up their soil and coco to disguise it from nosy bastards?

Peace, Solid.

just ask the places your looking at buying from about their shipping methods, problem solved.

Also, if you don't want to look suspicious when or if someone sees you with your gardening supplies, why not plant a few flowers or some other easy to maintain plants around the outside of your house. Then nobody would think twice when you're bring home or get delivered your bags of soil. It's normal to get gardening supplies if you garden.

Be careful with the stuff you're getting on ebay. I've read that they keep records of all your purchases.

I recently placed a large order..obviously didn't go to grow house but near bye. I asked vendor to wrap in plain cardboard...it was over 400 lbs and on a palette so they wrapped contents with cardboard and you wouldn't know what it was until you see this

At some point you have to take a risk.....you save so much in just tax alone ordering online but I still need to go to local stores so i take taxi or have friend drive....and always make sure your not followed..not by police but robbers...they are notorious for following cars from grow shop and home invading....youll never hear about it on the news cause a grower cant call cops....best lock in your ventures

Order from some place so at least the delivery dood doesn't know whats in your package... Probably no worse than going directly to a hydro store in your own car. I once ordered a light system from ebay, 1000w ballast and reflector. It came dropped shipped in original marked boxes, lol. That was not a good moment. Fortunetly I left a note for UPS to put it in my car port locker, rather than what he usually did, which was leaving it in the managers office! lol

Online suppliers usually say they ship plain brown wrapper if they do
Agreed...you'll have to take a chance somewhere...but make it minimal
I like the idea of using a taxi dropping you off up the street
You'll be fine...
