how many grams dried?

it's 1 - white widow, veged for 30 days, and don't want to flower for more than another 30 days, veged 18/6 under 250W MH and going to flower under 250 HPS. it's getting 62watts per sq. ft.

some people have suggested lst, but I haven't yet, it's my first grow and just wanted to get through first grow, but I might lst.

edit: I changed my mind I'll flower for 60 days and lst (a little bit)

do the lst right now man, if you are indoors and can control the environment, you can make a one cola plant turn into a 10 cola plant and its so easy!

if you vegged for 30 days i hate to say it but you have a minimum of 7 weeks left, MINIMUM depending on strain, white widow is mainly sativa so your looking at a 10 week flowering period. at least 2 1/2 months

It is not going to matter if you lst, scrog,sog,bog or any other name you want. If you go 30 days of flower only you are wasting your time. Worthless buds that have not matured. go longer

yeah, I'm going to flower for 7-8 weeks, I went ahead and lst'd the main branch, I'm not sure how I did, I'll post pics., in a few minutes. I just added 2 nots with a rubberband and a nylon string, one at the base of the branch and one at the top.

I just got one of Jorge Cervantes books a couple days ago, but I've been mostly looking at pictures, I should start reading it more. I just figured I could veg and flower for a short amount of time if I didn't want a high yield but apparently the issue is, buds won't mature in that amount of time. here are a couple pics of lst, I think I gotta move more branches out of the way of the main branch.

Good start on the lst... When all the tops and growing evenly you can flower, or wait it out and keep tying her down till you fill your space then flower....

well, I was wanting to flower early since I'm in a small cab 2x2x4' and I've read that your plant doubles in size when it flowers. I can't tell how tall the plant is since I've started lst. I've been going with fox farms feeding schedule and their whole feeding schedule is only 10 weeks.

I have already started flowering since Friday, so it's too late to continue veg., I read in jorge cervantes book that before you flower you should give the plant 36 hrs. of darkness and it gives the plant a signal and makes the plant flower earlier, do you think it's too late for me to do this? will it create problems?

I would just stick with 12/12 and try and keep as many of those budsites on a level plane. Nice even canopy so you can keep your lights close...

low stress training, somebody else could explain it better but it's basically using some nylon string or similiar to bend branches and fan leaves so that bud sites are more exposed to light creating more bud.

I dont' know if I did it right or not, but here are a couple pictures you can see how I've bent a couple branches.

I think in one of those pictures I actually have the nylon string on one of the budsites, which I removed, I'm a first-timer.

bro you have to flower till its done plain and simple. if not you will have wasted your time growing out your plant. you cant simply say 60 days and im harvesting it...it may not even be close to being ready. only sure way for a new grower to see maturity is with a pocket microscope. they sell them at radio shack(60x100) around $10. do a forum search on tric. color or maturity for more detailed info. if you gone this far... go the rest the way the rite way:wink:
