I would say it could go up 45-65$. I might be wrong but my bill went up 40 with a very similar setup and i was using a 400w hps. You shall soon find out but i would definitely expect about a 50$ increase. You can calculate it all out. I wish I remembered the link to that formulation. Good luck man.

Not nearly as much as what I would have to pay for budz.

When you upgrade to 10,000W per hr,,, maybe then.

It may even be cheaper, it depends on what area of the country you live in. I live in the midwest and i pay about $26-30 a month more when i run 2 400's,1 250, 6" vortexfan, 1 60 watt flouro. Now electricity is cheap in my area, if you live on the west coast you may be looking at charges more like badgr said. You can search for your kilowatt per hour rate in your area.. ill find a link to the price calculator.. check it.

Yup it all depends on your rates... Theres a big difference between 5 cents a kilowatt hour and 23 cents a kilowatt hour.

There are also variable rates like I have... its around 7-9 cents for first 250 kilowatt hours/month, then it goes up to around 14-15 cents/kwh for next 250 or so and i think 20 cents/kwh for anything beyond that.

I would just call my electric company and ask them for my rate and do the math

watts x how many hrs using watts x how many cents per kwh you pay and divide by 1000 = how much you pay for said electricity at said time in the equation...add 10 percent of the ballast wattage to the equation

Well I live where the most inexpensive hydro is on the planet, or so it's proclaimed.

I worked out a 150w = 2.90 to run on a 12/12 monthly

So a 600w is aprox 12.00 ! LoL, way under the radar. :)
