How much wattage do I need to start plant growth?

I have a small indoor enclosure that we're using to allow our plants to grow up to two weeks before transferring to an outdoor grow site. I wanted to know how many watts (we're using HPS) would the plants need?

We have 9 plants in a 13"x13"x18" box. We do not plan on them getting two big, we just want them sturdy enough to transfer into the woods.

Any pointers would be great,

Thanks!

Either one will do good the 125 watt one is nicer. I'd go with the 125 watt one. Would it fit in your box?on second thought With the size of your box the 23 watt bulbs would fit a lot better.

for a small space the first option is better, cause you can keep plants closer to the bulbs.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate the help! :)

If you have any other random pointers that you'd like to bring up for shits and giggles, I wouldn't mind hearing them. :)

Thanks,

Baz

to start zero, till they sprout ..then whatever you want...your lighting will dictate your yield and bud density a lot..oops your just veggin for outdoors... you would need a tiny hps for a box that small...better off with floros,cfl...
