well i have 2 pretty lifesaver girls no clones, so i wanna revegge they ar in 3 gallon grow bags round three feet tall. so i wanna kno how much soil and leaf matter to remove im hoping i could make a bonsai mom outta her in like a 2 liter pot or something but i doubt that would be possible. also can i put her back under the 250 right away or should i wait they have ALOT of under growth as i did not trim down below. so just wanted to ask thanx!!

I say take clones , root them and let them reveg. If you reveg that big plant it will take up a lot of room and take about 3 months to start growing again.

Just my 2 cents

Id take some cuttlings and veg them as well, makes more sense to me, but that means you have to sort out the cloning issues. Some strains (or plants) are really hard to clone, the cuttlings wont grow roots for weeks. I had this myself with some strain but i take clones almost 2 months before i plan to set them on 12/12, just in case. With these strains I usually keep them in some water for some time and when they show signs of roots I put them in cubes.
What comes to my mind in the art of cloning is temperature, the clones like a warmer temperature coming from below, so dont keep them on a cold floor! Also, humidity dome, root hormone are equally important as well.
So, good luck man!

Bud father, there are a few things you could do in this case.
1. you could finish flowering her, harvest and reveg the very bottom of the plant for another round.
2. You could reveg the whole plant now and then reflower her.
3. You could pollinate her. And grow out the seeds.
4. You could decide that you deffo want to take cuts, and try a few unusual things to get them to root. For instance, you could reveg the girl, and bury her deeper in to the soil. New roots will form along the plant to the top of the soil, and if you have a few branches covered at the bottom, they could start to grow roots at their base, allowing them to then be removed from the plant and planted separately.

If you are going to switch her back to reveg now, then I wouldnt trim the roots yet, but I would remove the upper half of the plant, revegging means new growth, and you'll probably run out of head room before too long. Attacking the roots at the same time as the top and the lighting schedule could overly stress her and reslut in no more plant.

well im noticing white bump forming at both sets of clones its now like 35 daze for one and 28 daze for the other one. im gonna put a heater underneath them now im gonna do a layer of sand in between a heating pad that i have and a tupperware container filled with my cuts in rockwool and olivias. im also picking up rapid rooters and i geuss im gonna take some more cuts at 36 dazein 12/12. i have beutiful plants but im just getting my shit down on this cloning business. they are on something metal so that maybe the cause of could stems not sure tho. so hopefully the heating pad will do the trick.or maybe rapid rooters or maybe wick cloner or maybe bubbler or maybe water cup will work i dunno but im gonna get her too root if i have to reveg them and wait till they root! i have supplies for all of those things so we will see. i was also thinking bout making some seeds too but all of gmt thing sound tempting i wil just go thru it till i get it right!

I took clones off an already budded plant (I think 30 days in or so) and the roots appeared after about 1 month! It then took another 3 weeks of 24 hour light to notice any growth at all. It will be a really slow process, but you should be able to keep her going this way. I would only do this if the plant was truely exceptional and needs to be saved.

Another time I budded a CO fully, and then harvested like normal. After the harvest I placed her under 24 hour light, and after about 40 days in she started to reveg! Seemed like forever, but did work eventually.

So basically what I am saying is, if you do decide to use these methods, don't give up! It will take what will seem like an eternity to start the reveg stage. It's first growth will be single blade leafs, and look really strange and bushy as the remaining buds elongate and stretch out. Eventually it will resemble a normal plant. It will work though. Hope this helps and good luck!
