getting some yellowing on the bottom leaves, well the single bladed leaves and a couple of the 3 finger leaf are getting some yellow action. im not feeding enough im thinking, been using 1/4 tsp per gallon and my babies are 6 nodes and about 1.5 foot tall in one gallon pots. what do ya guys think? 400w MH and 400W HPS for lighting if that matters. also adding in some age old kelp with everywatering.

think i could trim those bottom leaves off, or do i need them and please dont

well they will yellow and die when they are no longer needed. if the the top leaves are yellowing then try to use a tablespoon per gallon and dont fert everytime you water them. feed them everyother day . water when the top part of the soil is dry. good luck dude.

420kushmaster...have you used dyna grow? Just curious...

greenjello..kush is kinda right. A healthy plant that is recieving all the nutrients it needs will never yellow. If you are seeing yellowing from the bottom up then more than likey you have a N deficiency. Since you have been feeding at 1/4 teas per gallon, I might up it to 1/2 per gallon. You should always increase your nutrients gradually...start slow and work your way up. Eventually, you want to work it up to full stregth, but do it in steps.

btw...it is normal to have the initial leaves yellow and die off eventually, nothing is lost brotha :)

I was gonna say the exact same thing as sunny. Kick it up to 1/2 tsp per gallon. I used to use dyna-gro and bloom with great results in soil and hydro a few years back. Then I switched to organics and organic based like foxfarm and pbp and humus teas. When youre dyna products get low start taking a look into organics. Not saying you have to, just giving a helpful healthy suggestion.

oh cool then ihave no probs since its the the baby leaves that yellow, i guess i can clip them as soon as they lose all green. i did bump it up to 1 tsp and fed all the big plants, they seems to be liking it, but i will jump it back down to half tsp since 1/4- 1 is kinda big step.

omega, i planned on doing organic next grow witht he foxfarm, i am sold on thier ocean forest, best ive ever seen. i went with dyna grow and age old kelp due to advise and ease of use without worry about PH probs with my ro water. thanks guys for the advise much love for you all...btw these babies are going 12/12 next weekend they will be over 30 days old what do ya think?

age is different than maturity...how tall are they? How many nodes? Are the nodes alternating? 30 days is about right tho. ;)

keep upping the nutes once a week or so till the very tip of the leaf burns, then back it down a bit, each strain is different and it also depends on age, you'll get the hang of your own unique feeding needs :)

all i have to say is without more info no way to know what it is.

N or Mg is your culprit, but to be safe add some epsoms and i think they have a micro type thing are you using all the parts or just the quid grow?

lookin into dyna-gro also

their potassium silicate supplement is next on my to-buy list of ferts.
"Pro-tekt" i think its called.

ill look for the chart but i think the sulfur levels (high) in their mag supplement are acceptable for our hobby (some strains like more than others, my jack shows defieciency from time to time) its called Mag-Pro and its a sulfur/mag not cal/mag
http://www.dyna-gro.com/2154.htm
get a cal/mag if you can, pot loves calcium. i even add a bit of gypsum to my mix.
a switch to GH flora may be better for you in the future, the micro sounds friggin killer, i cant wait to switch.. i use depot-bought chems right now for the bloom closet in lightly ammended promix because i got tired of the organic thing.

good luck to you.
