How much THC can butter hold?

I have about 2oz of northern lights I dont plan on smoking because I have much better stuff that I prefer. I plan to make a loaf of zucchini bread using canna butter. The recipe only calls for 1 stick of butter... if I boil the butter with say 1oz of NL will it be able to take in all the thc?

Well I went ahead and used all 2oz of buds to 4 sticks of butter. Will report back tomorrow

i always use the 2 oz. to 4 sticks of butter method. seems to work perfectly. i usually make into a cookie batch with about 2 inch cookies and one of those babies will usually get me going. tolerance will build up though and medicate accordingly.

i guess it was enough i forgot i even posted this question and it was only yesterday after making and eating some choco chip canna cookies hehe the 4 C's man i ate 2 about 2hrs ago and its hard to type when your floating around the room lol oh yeah i put 40 grams seeded outdoor nug in 1 stick butter ,giradelli chocolate chip are the best to use

There has to be a super-saturation point for butter. I suppose the only way to find out is to get some butter up to temp and keep dipping nugs in it and then checking under a scope to see if the caps keep dissolving. Once they stop then you've reached your saturation point.

I have no idea if this will work. I figure the heat will make it really easy for the caps to just break off even if they don't melt. This would really take some finessing.

If anyone saw the recent National Geographic special with Lisa Ling (not sure how it's spelled). It made me wonder the same thing.

I usually use 1 oz of vaporized herb to 2 sticks of butter. Seems to work well.

I always believed that basically the oils from the trichome heads were seperating from the plant material and mixing with the butter. I wonder when you let the butter sit at a temperature where it melts if canna oils seperate at all or do oils some how bond to the butter???

Before I came to IC, I measured colas against my thumb. With the IC family guiding me, I now measure colas against my forearm. Those below are 19" long grown under a 250 CMH. Stupid IC has me buried alive. I could cook up 6 oz and still have too much left to smoke.
