How much for Shatter then?

Another member and myself have been having an ongoing discussion regarding bho

So what sort of prices are going around for shatter


People in London are paying upto £80-100 for a gr (same price as top notch coke btw)

But that's top kolas apparently also top shelf strains

Lower popcorn and trim is about £45gr

So where your from what's the going rate and if thee is top strains and prices please post them here to fuel a couple of stones ramblings

Hey bro, My mate is selling shatter ive made from trim for between 30 an 50. Its shatter but not vac purged so doesn't command as high a price.
I think Rosin is a better extract and retains more terps.

Your not smoking it so it don't affect you. Also I leave the plate over boiling hot water for a good hour and burst the bubbles to encourage the gas to escape.
I bet you injest more toxins through your diet and the air you breath to worry about a bit of tainted shatter.
Also it shatters to the snap which is a good indication of less butane.

Sometimes I add bud but just the bottoms. My mates are building up a line selling shatter, cakes, moon rocks etc. What I plan on doing is getting a rosin press. Its very similar to shatter but taste is much better, and no BHO. I made a little bit not long back and was amazed at how it retained most of the original flavour, but better.

My rosin goes for 30a g or 2 for 50. I hear about 20 dollar grams of unpurged crumble. Nasty is right. Rosin is awesome.I hear in norcal it's like 10 a gram for trim run shatter.

Shatter is bullshit. When you understand whose pushing these trends of highly processed weed. Its producers using scraps. Who cares the texture. Crumbles saps and other textures, rosin etc are far superior in every way.

I may be wrong, cuz I used to get some fire wax that was hard like candy, and was bright neon with unbelievable strong smell and flavor. But the guy sold it for only 35 and never attached the stupid "Shatter" hype word to it. Just seems most 'shatter' is terpless alcohol washed reclaimed trim wax with the chlorophyll bleached out of it. It goes for as cheap as 25. People don't bitch about quality when price of scraps is relatively low.

well,the lemon trainwreck shatter was pretty good.i think it came from a dispensary but ive never been to one cause my state is frugal giving out med cards.some of the best ive ever had.anyway if its done right its quite good imo

£40-£50 a G for rosin, anymore than that is taking the piss. Anyone thats paying more than that is paying for the novelty, or they only want to try it once etc because they cant get it else where.

You and your mate should be ashamed selling that unpurged shite, it dont cost that much for a vac purge machine, if your going to do something do it properly. Only reason you get away with that shit is because the people who are smoking it dont know any better.

Of course your rosin is going to retain more terps / taste better as your oil still has butane in it

I think you are wrong on the assumption that shatter is made using scraps, not even sure what you mean by scraps, trim I assume. The only difference between shatter and crumble is that crumble is whipped and shatter isn't. As long as you purge correctly their should be no difference.

Mabey you are thinking of the clear, which is terpless and highly processed.

I do agree rosin is superior.
