how much do you feed a 1 pound+ plant?

i have some big pants going,from 1/4 lb to over 2 pounds potential yield....
ive done organics,but i find synthetic easier and cheaper for me.i usually feed 1 5 gallon bucket per plant with the recommended amounts per gallon,i never get deficiencies or over fert problems,but im wondering if bigger plants require 2 buckets each....any thoughts?

I recommend you follow the instructions on the bottle and very slowly increase the amount used over time.

Don't feed too much at once or you'll burn your plant.

Bigger containers usually translate larger plants.
