I mix my soil per 2 gallons, so many table spoons of dolomite lime should I add to each 2 gallon mix of soil? also is dolomite something that can burn plants easy if I add too much? do I have to be REALLY carefull with it or is their a little leniency with the stuff..

1 tablespoon powdered lime per gallon will do you good.
There's a good standard soil mix, very versatile, 6/2/2 promix/perlite/ewc and it calls for 1 tblsp per gal.

Its an inert material until its required by the soil, you really cant overdose on it(within reason). 2 tsp/tbsp is just a base thats easy to follow but still an arbitrary number.

i use dolomite lime at 2 heaping TBS per gallon or 1 cup per cubic ft of soil.
