how many plants should i scrog?

hey icers whats up. i just bought this new cabniet from home depot.the dimensions are 47"x19"x35" (LxDxH) 6.3 square feet .

im going to set up some kind of hydroponic system (havnt decided yet) and i need to know how many plants to scrog in in my cabiniet? im going to flower using a 250w hps.

The number of plants depends on how big you veg them to and how much they stretch after you start 12/12. I have a SCROG that is 24" x 48" and I run up to 8 plants, but I start the plants flowering at 6" or so for sativas and maybe 8-10" for indicas.

are u using hydroponics?

im really getting frustrated on what sytem to build.
im thinking eather recirculating swc or micro bio buckets. im trying to use the least amound of cash as possible but not have a ghetto ass setup. ive found out that its better to buy quality stuff and keep everything clean.

Yes, I run hydro. My current system is recirculating DWC (buckets) completely home built. Here is the thread on how I built it: http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=19373

I have also built my own stand-alone DWC bucket/tub systems and my own ebb & flow systems. Everything I've used is available from Walmart, Lowes, and/or Home dePot. My signature block has links to my main build thread and a thread on using Rubbermaid containers to build gardens.

I prefer to build my own systems; that way, if there is a problem, I know how to fix it. Also, I won't have anyone to blame but me if it's wrong!

heres what i got in a 6 x 6....

48 1 gallon buckets from the dolla store im running them as a drip system.
im using a 20 gallon rez per 24. but could use 10.....



heres 12 in a 2 x 3 5 gallon rez...



and a stock

btw cost is about 10 bux a bucket...... including pump & hydroton witch are by far the most expinsave things.....
with out droton or a pump yor looking around 5 bux a bucket...
