hey i have a few questions, if someone can answer them.

i want to get a 1000 watt hps and grow some widow, bubblegum, or grapefruit under it. im going to get all feminised seeds, but want to know
how many plants can i put under a 1000 w?(for maximum yield)?

also i have 10 low ryder 2 seeds and was seeing if i should get a
150,250, or 400 watt.

also i know there are the deminsions of these lights...
whats the area a 1000 watt covers?

oh yea anyone got that site that shows how much it costs to run a certain amount of light in your area?

I think if I remember right..... 25 watts per sq feet of space. for vegging and for flowering..... 45 watts per sq feet of space.
It depends on how big you want to grow the plants how too.

If you have a lot of little ones max 3 feet then you can get around 6 under there with a good yield.

if you have only one 1000 watt ballast and have a rectangular room then you will be well off using a linear light mover. You can cover a spave about 4-5 feet wide and 8-15 feet long depending on your grow room. If you have a square room you will be better off with a refelctive hood and not going more then 5feet wide and 5feet long

uck i use 1000w for grow an dbloom for grow its not as deep so iuse it on a light move and do a 11x6 space.

For bloom i use light movers and do a 8x4or 5 space generally a 1000w light will do a 5x5 area really well. i dont got the numbers or formula to tell you exactly but the smaller the area the more light tothem plants = bigger yield. But you can put the same 1000w on a mover and get a 11x6 area just the same and have decent yeiled off the plants to each is own you know. if we could get the formula in here we could tell you the most ideal space but for now something like this should help yopu.

light movers wont double your yeild just use the 1000w with more effeciency so if you get a mover and still only us 1 light youshould be ableto get more yield off the mover.

A normal visit to the garden and a quick spin of the pots, along with changing plant positions when watering eliminates the need for light mover. I veg between 40-50 plants, and flower between 20-30 in a 5 x 7 area under 1kw. Yield between 1-2 lbs on potent low yeild strains, and an occasional 2.5 lb+ yeild with decent high yeilding strains.
