how many clones can one take

hello every one , i have read all the info i can find on mother plants but one talk about many clones you can take from a mother plant . so if any one know s please tell me . 30, 40 . 50 percent or more from a mother plant and still leave enough tops so the mom can recover good . and does it make any diffrent between hyhro or soil mom s

Try asking GUERELLA1080 in bonsai moms. He should be able to tell you.

It depends on how big the mom is, how you've trained it, and how good you are with cloning... if you have a plant with lots of branches and its pretty big, you can get like, well it depends... anywhere between 10-??? . Its so subjective.


you could probably get like 30+ clones off of 2 plants that look like this:

Go into growers forums then soil grows and the thread is called all about bonzai moms and dads.

he seems to really know what hes on about also check out the thread cloning with JJSCORPIO another one who seems to know his stuff.

hopefully they wont mind me refering you to them but they seem very helpfull.
