how many 3 gallon plants could fit in 5x5?

So from my research it look like people are having success squeezing about 6 3 gallon plants in the common 4x4 tents. (under a 1000hps)

What about a 5x5 or 5x4.5 under 2x 600hps? Space isn't an issue and this would be a fairly minimal electrical increase. Would I be able to fit and additional 2 plants for 8 total? I would have a bit less light density than a 1000 in 4x4, but I would stil be just about at the recommend 50 watts per sq ft.

I don't mind paying a bit more in startup cost if I can pull an additional 30% every harvest.

What do yall think? Worth the extra complications? Better to run 2x 600s with a bit more space or 1 1000?

I run 5 3gal in a 4x4 tent and it's pretty crammed. Lol. I do grow them pretty big though. They are usually 4 to 5 feet tall, including container height.

I say go with the 1000w

if the question is how many pots, well if they are square you can get 16 in a 4x4 so i would think only 1 more row so maybe 20-25 tops.

I run 30 - 3g pots in a 4x8 , so 15 each 4x4 under a 1000w

i only veg for 2 weeks in final 3g container from the party cup stage ( 2 weeks)

lollipop style , single cola with a few side branches ... each has 1 sq foot approximately and with 66.6 watts per plant.

works for how quickly i want to flip my spaces. only downside to my game is the clones i need to make and plant numbers ... oh well

All things equal I could do better with two 600s than one 1000...
