How long?

Hey, I just wanted to ask how long can 1-2 plants survive without ventilation if i have grow box made out of cardboard and inside is white paper?

I have vents installed but they are kinda loud so just incase if my parents visit me then id prefer to turn them off..

They will survive long enough for your parents to visit you - they would probably be ok for a few days or more (depending on the size of the box I guess), but longterm they will not thrive without some air exchange.

Cardboard, paper, and lights sounds like a great way to start a fire. I would recommend building a better growbox.

if you can get some 2x4 & nails you can build a little chamber for relativity cheap.

I'd be worried about how hot it might get, even if you don't start a fire you might cook your plants.

would your parents really snoop around your entire house? just throw that shit in your bedroom and keep them out of there. no need to share your private space with them anyways. your other option would be throw them in a cardbard box with no lights. and put them back into your grow area when they leave. plants dont need air exchange during lights off.

lol,I understand your point but i grow for my father, and my mom understands i'm an adult and respects that i can tell her the truth about. she stays with me for a week out of the year and helps me garden every night she here. good family time actually haha
