How long to root?

I have 4 Big Bud clones that were taken about 10 days into flowering. They are in a bubble cloner for over 2 weeks now, and no sign of roots??? I notice they seem to be getting a somewhat clear slime on the stems. I change the water every 5-6 days. The leaves still look OK for being without roots for over 2 weeks, but what should I do? I may re cut them. The first group I did I just made the 45 degree cut, and got 2 out of 3 success. These new ones I scraped the bottom of the stem, and dipped in Rootone, and put a couple of drops of Thrive Alive. Any ideas? Mahalo.

Give it a little time, when you take clones from a flowering plant it will take longer to root
I would give it a another week or 2.

Clear slime may be bacteria. Start adding 1 teaspoon 3% hydrogen peroxide per gallon of water daily.

It really depends on the strain and the enviroment given. from my experience i have found that u need to force them cuts to root, if they are too pampered then they will take longer to root. Do not mist them or add any nutes. Also it is a good idea to prep the mom before the butcher job. It is proven that when the mother is given plain water for a week before takin cuts- u will have a better success rate. The idea is too leach out any nutes in the mom and build up carbohydrates, so the starving cut "has" to produce root in order to survive. I have used gels, b1 vitamins, and bubbler cloners,
ez-cloner and nothing works faster that rockwool cubes and dip-n-grow. Hope this helps- good luck my friend.

Sproutco: I'll try the H2O2.

Glassmaster: I'll be more mindful of watering them in preperation for cloning. I got clones from a friend in Rockwool, and didn't have much success transitioning them to soil. Only one of three made it.

Mahalo for the responses. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I heard that Big Bud is supposed to be a hard cloner first of all. I think u might wanna change the water every day. No reason to let the bacterias get time to grow at all.
