How long to let seeds grow to be plantable?

I put some K2 pollen on two lower Cinderella buds, or blossoms, about three weeks ago. the plant was well into bloom. it's about blown all it's fan leaves but still no amber trichs, which seem to take forever on this strain: unbearable wait. i would like to harvest the plant soon but i want the seeds that are forming. the last time i cut the main stem and left a small bud to keep growing, it didn't. so if i cut it i don't expect the seeds to keep forming. I doubt the plant will keep looking good for more than about 10 days max.

anybody got any idea how long it takes for the seeds to mature to the point of being useable? and/or, when should i have pollenated? thanks

OKAY, MAYBE wrong forum. found all the answers i need on page three in the Breeders forum.
fwiw, five weeks minimum, with 6-8 being ideal. grow till you can see them tryin to bust a move out of the calyx, should be brown, i guess. anyway if anyone cares:

that thread is a sticky. with lots of what to do after you harvest the seeds for optimum germination, as well as storing them for years.
