Some plants take longer, If you're not seeing anything, give it time. If they're hairless and start to cluster like grapes, those are males and should be pulled.

Sure is. Some say the buds are a bit fluffier than with an HPS, but the flip side of that is some say they're more potent. Either way, it works just fine. If it really bothers you, you can grab a conversion bulb.

I collected the following information from a book called Gardening: Southern Style. I'm glad you started this thread cause I've heard quite a few people mentioning this occurrence in their gardens. I think we all need to re-address the importance of a flush prior to flowering. I myself will now be flushing prior to the switch in eleven days.

Page 16 states the below message:

To read the entire text - go here: http://books.google.com/books?id=Sp...&hl=en&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=1&ct=result

Now with respect to the already existing thread on flushing - I think and I mean I think we can continue this open thread on the basis of decreasing the initial turnover period.

Any MODs out there think this is okay or should we merge this with the existing thread on flushing.

Sorry I never really explained myself - The reason I wrote the previous post was to find out if you flushed. If you have a healthy biotope and all is in order - I'm proned to assume that you have excess nitrogen within your plant preventing the switch from occurring within that certain time frame. It WILL happen. It'll just take a lil longer. I had a haze plant take 3 weeks before it formed it's first pistil cluster. So you will be okay man. For now I'd say lower nitro on next feed if neither occurs by the next feed date. What do you guys think? Or am I just blowing smoke?

I have never done a full flush But I do switch to bloom nutes for the last 12 days of vegetative growth.

So that among others like strain play a part but I know you're all good man. Like I said I went 3 weeks and no loss of any quality so you're in for a good ride.

Nonetheless I'm glad you pointed that out because just for a test I'm flushing mine for 48hrs in plain pH tap prior to really pumping up the bloom. Just to see what happens.

That's really cool. A wonderful achievement. Are you joking when you say you haven't learned anything along the way?

You'll be surprised at how much you know when you're faced with the task at hand. Specially when you've already been conditioned for it. You'll see once you get into the field everything will pop into place.. Good Luck man.

Well the hard parts is still in front of me, finding a job I will like. I don't want to be stuck in a lab or development center but it is the most probable location. If I could do what I wanted it would be to farm a Cannabis crop.

Sorry I'm really bad at posting instructions so please redo if you're good at this sorta stuff.

You have to use the following BB code and fill in the location of where the picture is located. This is the BB Code:

Damn, I wish there was a way I can post that so you can copy/paste it but because BB Code is on I had to take a snapshot of it.
Here's a snapshot of the info you'll need to copy and paste into the [brackets] of the BB Code like Just copy from where it says HTTP all the way into .jpg and replace it with the address you see above in the image.

To get that information just click on the ICMag Gallery icon right on the top of the post you are writing. Once the gallery opens up with your images click on the one you want to view. Click it so that you see a full size preview and then right-click the preview and select properties. I would right-click the sample picture above to get the properties:

I know the instructions are shitty so please help me here if you can guys/gals. Then again if it helps one person than I guess id did that it was meant for. Good Luck.
