how long for guano to break down?

ive read that when adding guanos and meals to a dry mixture it takes about 2 weeks after constant wetting and turning for them to be available to the plant. so im wondering when i bubble guano and meals in a tea the bubbling should expedite the process. if this is correct how long does it usually take for the guanos and meals to become available to the plant after say and 24-48 hours of bubble? being that they are slow release fertilizers it could take a while. im confused. can someone pls explain. thanks

Teas can have a near immeadiate effect - lil pearky and greening within a day , so it's gotta be ready to use. I pour the bottom dregs into my soil can - never hurts the lil ones.

Part of what your feeding is the plant, part is the micro-orgis in the soil.

You may want to check out worm castings - lil bonus in the organic bounty

so i guess it would be fair to say that if there is not an immediate effect then the plant could use more of the element that its defecient in?

or there is a lock out,,,,,

The element or nutrient, could be there and due to pH or possible some other imballance - locked out and unavailable

The first and worst misteake is overwatering - which upsets the ballance os the plant - next is pH issues. - Lil further down the line, are the nurtient issues.

If you search, you can find a table of availability at various pH levels - you will see why shightly accidic is really good.

Edit - previous comment was based on recent experience with some new seedlings with yellowing leaves - one good watering with high N bat shit tea and the plant looked better next day; greener and perkier. I also have some high k guano for flowering - and I think the kelp juice has a good dose of P - I'll have to review some labels.

In soil it's gonna take longer ta break down, the bigger the particles the longer it'll take. This is where the slow release part comes from.Bubblin it makes it readily available, jus like ya thought. But ALWAYS ph test yer tea before ya feed it to yer plants (for soil it should be 6.5-7).When ya first bubble guano tea the ph goes through the roof from micro-critters goin JoJo circus boy with all of the oxygen in the water. The ph will drop back down after a couple a days, but always check it ta see if yer in range, cause if yer not you'll be lockin out nutes and have deficiencies in no time.If ya are havin deficiencies problems with the correct ph,throw some kelp in the mix.It has 60-70 trace elements in it,not ta mention potassium and growth hormones.Hope this helped a lil.Take care...BC
