How long does everyone let their pollinated plants go until harvest after they've been pollinated?

Over ten years ago or so I learned, was told or decided that 35 days was sufficient, but I don't remember where the knowledge came from or if I just made it up myself and I've been sticking with the 35 day rule of thumb ever since. If anyone has any better wisdom, I'd like to learn it.
I guess theres probably strain to strain variation, do Hazes and long flowering tropical type take longer before they produce viable seeds?

Pollination 6 weeks before the expected harvest time is what I aim for as well. But with an "about" rather than an "at least" qualifier.

Often the seeds are clearly ripe well before that, but don't recall a situation with any kind of strain where at least the vast majority weren't properly mature after 6 weeks.

Like Chuck with his 35 day rule, can't remember where I learned the 6 week rule, probably ICMag.

As a rule of thumb when Ive pollinated in the past I wait until the plants look like the food network guys Barnet. I’ve only part pollinated the plants though so I harvest as I would if there were no seeds to collect.

Es mejor esperar más de 6 semanas después de la polinización para obtener la mejor producción de semillas, tal vez de 8 a 10 semanas. esto es para asegurar que se logre el almacenamiento total de carbohidratos en el germoplasma.

It is best to wait more than 6 weeks after pollination for best seed production, perhaps 8 to 10 weeks. this is to ensure full carbohydrate storage is achieved in the germplasm.
