How long does canabutter stay good for?

I made an overstock amount of cannabutter.... I was wondering if anyone knows how long it stays good for?

If it is salted butter, it may also last longer

I would clarify it and then freeze it in small portions, perhaps an ice cube tray. Google frozen butter though, and make sure freezing doesn't damage it.

Give some to friends if you think it will go bad before you can use it

It lasts as long as regular butter of the type.

If you know you are making a batch, just use salted butter, it's really not salty.

And yes, you can freeze it for extended periods of time, like normal butter.

if frozen, you can keep it over a year with still good potency.
I have been using mine for almost 16 months now... still works a treat!

I keep mine in the fridge and it keeps for months there.

I've never frozen any but many do.
