How long does a greenhouse lengthen the growing season?

I'm at 45 N latitude, the average frost was, in most areas, from mid-September to early October. If I grow in a greenhouse, how late will I be able to harvest?

Green houses allow for year round growing, as you are in a micro climate - like a rainforest (sort of).

I suggest reading this book. Eliot Coleman has many cold weather growing cooks, for vegetables but it is what you make of it..

This may be unnecessary, but recognize the difference between a cool house (unheated) (often in the form of a hoop house) and a greenhouse (heated).

Yeah BasementGrwoer nailed it. It all depends on how your greenhouse is set up. If you have lights and heat you can extend the season indefinitely. Even just a coldframe should be able to extend your season several weeks.
