depends on several factors including but not limited to storage and age when you got them. i've heard decades but i have no experience and dont claim to.

A dark airtight container placed in the refridgerator is the best way to keep seeds viable for at least three years

I had some Sensi Afghan 1's and they were frozen since 2000. I had about a 75% germ rate but I messed up with sprouting them and it micht have been better.

High wiskey! Pretty much a long time. Ive had some sprout that were 2 years old. There's a thread here somewhere that sprouted 6-year old frozen seeds as well. Instead of rice, I put in a wad of papertowel, but still keep in fridge. Peace, TBug

I have 4 - Mulimby (sp) MadnessxStoneHedge X Kona GoldxShiskaberry and 1 - SWT#3xC99 that are all above 3 foot now in flower.

Those all came from seeds won in the Jeast Auction back in '03. I didnt particularly keep them in any special container or anything. In the original bags they were sent to me in the top of a closet.

i'm currently vegging some apollo 13 and an apoll/cinderella 88 crosses i made. the seeds are 10 years old or so. i just popped them into a few freezer baggies and stuck them in the fridge. 7 out of 10 popped for one and 8 out of 10 for the other.

i used to keep rice in with the seeds but i read that the rice might suck the moisture out of the seed. made sense to me so i went through and took out all rice.

nice! :joint:
