How long do I have to wait after my plants are dry to start the seeds I got off them?

I've done this with as little as a 3 week rest between plants being dry and starting seed before, can I turn it around even quicker than that without getting a low percentage of seeds that sprout? I am hot to trot.
The earlier the better, the seeds are mature, put them out and save the rest of the plant in the freezer and make hash out of it, the fresher, the more terps

I finally got around to pulling the seeds out of the dried plant and starting them last night. I should've started a week or two sooner, but didn't. Lets see what happens

You beat me to the draw on that one for sure. Next time I say I'm hot to trot, I'm gonna mean it.
Was really a test to see if they were mature and if the plant could be chopped down more than anything (pollinated a little late).

I have them out now but seedlings put out mid-August... unrealistic to expect much. Though I would be happy even with a bit of pollen. That might be possible still, we'll see. It's an auto/photo F1 cross so I could chuck the pollen at an auto and get a 50% auto seed generation.

Yeah, mine are F2 semi autos, so the plan is to grow them outdoors for the first couple weeks then bring them inside to find the autos, get them pollinated and maybe bring them back outside to finish when I put up my greenhouse mid October so I can start a different batch of F2 semi autos indoors or maybe just grow them out indoors the rest of the way

I gave some clones that I had to much to a friend in August and she still harvested more than 20 g each plant. If you have space always worth it. Also I popped 100 fresh seeds to check germination and all popped. After you got the seeds, it’s important to store them well
