I also assume you have flushed your soil and leached all your nutes. If so, then it doesn't really matter, but if let her dry out you may induce more thc. In other words, you wouldn't want to water the day of harvest, but you don't want dried out plants to deal with for harvest either.

it is soil. I am close to harvest on my first crop and the last nute feeding was 3 days ago. I am watering with ph'd water 5 gallons a day. I will likely harvest within the next week. I realize I should have stopped the nutes a little earlier...lesson learned. Just got my loupe today to look at the trichs.

Why not use a product like Flora Kleen or something equivalent and make sure. You could use any of those within a few days and be fine.

Yea, JC is right. You can water right up to the day of harvest, but it will take a little longer to cure. The thing to watch out for is high humidity if your buds are freshly watered daily then harvested, they will have a lot of water weight that will take longer to dry. I think an extended cure is a good thing, just watch for mold.

Definitely sounds like the best plan and keep your curing process in mind.

If you have serious humidity problems let them go an extra 2 days to dry out before pulling.

We with hold water right before Harvest-- We harvest when they start showing a good droop--
The reason for this, as it was explained to me...is that Plant Reactions (At the end) have everything to do with protecting the seeds--
When the plant thinks it is dying, resin production will increase, to protect the seeds, whether there are any or not--:)
