How I Have Been Buffering Root Zone Nutrient Content with Water

I’ve been meaning to take the time to do this and this last one was a back breaker I almost left it alone in the middle of it.

One should check pH through this process.

Im leaving out what nutrients I use. I started with a blend of fertilized peat and coco soils with added peat and perlite which come out to 2 parts potting soil, 1 part bare peat moss soil and 1 part perlite.

I Am Targeting 500ppm

I last buffered this 40L/10gal pot down to around 800ppm 2 days ago. I started today with 2 gallons of around 350ppm to flood.

This came out and I buffered it down with water.
Flooded again.

Still high, I got agressive based on a suggestion I just learned from @Tynehead Tom

Getting better now, next post.

I made a fresh batch of solution that came to 437ppm. It came out pretty good

So I poured that back through and I am done.

After everything has run off. We now know, this is what the roots are in.
