well in my 250w flowering room i have 2 plants and it seems to stay pretty hot in there when the lights are on. the temp in there can get to about 85F.

is this to hot and will it affect the yield of the plants?

even when i have the fan on the temp only go down abit.

85 is about border line, 90 is way to hot, if you cant get it below 85 i wouldnt be over concerned just keep a eye on the leaves for wilting.

Yeah...Set it up so that you have fresh air comin in, and hot air going out..

I believe, its called a passive/active ventilation setup...

You may have to cut some holes in yer door, for 4-6 inch vent tubing...If yer renting, you may want to go look for a replacement door at the fleamarket..

Get the temps down. And do it soon....In my recent experience...The heat lead to some fluffy bud.

Good luck buddy..

Hi m8
Think anything past 90 at your plants will be effected,As u say they may look ok(for now)But they wont be able to "Thrive"in that temp..

Your only useing a 250,So u should be able to get the temps down..

As was said,U need Cool/fresh air going in(Passive intake be fine)
Also looks like u keep your ballast in there,This will add extra heat(the ballast gets really warm))
Also does hot water go thru them copper pipes on the left?

Once u find out where the extra heat is coming from,U can work on getting the temps down...There could be some simple things u could remove/do diff to drop 5-10 degs

*Edit*
I notice by the bottle(at the back)
U have some sort of shiney sheet,Maybe that is conducting heat somehow(clutching at straws here)..Anyway what is it for?(if it is a mirror i would check up on its effectiveness(have heard mirriors are no good ))

you need to get a fan sucking air out of that little space as well as having the one inside just moving air around. know this was already said but i think its prob the problem.

yes for some reason nobody seems to get that all plant life like humans need air...ventilation is one of the most important factors in a successful harvest..its better to address ventilation problems then to be disappointed and give up on this beautiful hobby as many do...its a problem you have to solve my friend..if you would like help..there is plenty willing
