How far into flowering can you prune?

This is really my first attempt at doing heavy pruning (removing bud sites that get little to no light).

Before throwing my current plants into flower I removed many of the interior bud sites that would have developed into nothing but fluffy popcorn buds.

At almost week 3 of flowering, I realized that I missed some...Can I still remove these without affecting growth?

yes you can. however some strains don't handle heavy pruning in flowering. I personally do a heavy prune on flip day. I then do light pruning after stretch.

I use CFL's on a small scale so any larfy stuff not near the top of the canopy becomes a potency check ;)

Your plants will take a few days to heal where you've cut, but after that energy is (hopefully) redistributed to remaining bud sites. I just did this to my blue dream after a few weeks flower with good results.

I have pruned or pinched up to two weeks into flower, but do not like to do it later than that. Agree with Eric tho, some strains do not take it as well, you have to experiment a little :)

I've pruned both purposefully as well as accidentally at pretty much every stage of flower. Never noticed an ill effect. Just don't go crazy.
