How do you guys feel about C-list?

I have just started using it recently to network with local patients in my area.. Has been pretty much a success for me so far, but I'm really new to it. Have two patients now who are becoming more and more regular with me, seems like everything is going smoothly.. But then I got a pretty sketchy email this morning that seemed like it couldn't be anything other than a cop or someone trying to rob me.

So what's your experience with the C-list for all things medical? Have you met trustworthy people on it? Have you been fucked over for using it? Color me interested.

i'll pass on craigslist

it's a perfect place for someone to look for victims ( and by victims i mean trustworthy people who are actually trying to do some good)

trust no one !!!!! especially if a "sketchy email" from them was enough to set off you scumbag radar

Where I live they bait people with sex and drugs and then rob and/or kill them.

Of course they do the same to the pizza delivery men.

it works pretty well

just nothing too large

anytime you feel you want or need a gun is exactly when you want to say NO to a "meetup" no matter where you met the person.

If you are in a med friendly state, it is pretty easy to weed scammers out especially when it comes to verifying recommendations and IDs.

anything that is too good to be true probably has something wrong with it so always remember that as well.

common sense

public meetup

BEFORE it gets dark

verify patients

Thats whats up medmaker, thank you for the insight makes me feel a lot more confident in what I'm already doing.. Thats basically the same advice I got from my vendor when he learned I was interested in advertising through clist; verify everyone first and check ID's to the rec.. Original document on first meeting and its all cherry from there. I def won't be toting any pounds to some randoms house LOL..

Craigslist is the largest scam support operation in the world. No other site or service in the world comes close in knowingly propagating outrageous scams like Craigslist. No other is filled with glittering lies (except maybe Facebook or Ebay!). Sad but true. Craigslist has made an art form of intentionally and knowingly supporting the most massive volume of deceptions, ripoffs and scams in the whole world. If they weren't doing it so blatantly and obviously it would be illegal. But since its in the USA - its all about the dollars.

All that said you can still connect with safe and honest people now and again on there. I've bought motorcycles, appliances and furniture on there. But always with the assumption that I might be walking into a robbery or scam.

Caveat emptor and caveat venditor!

Remember to keep in mind that your safety is your responsibility. If you can I'd say always have a trusted person around for first meetings.

ive been only buying lots of meds of craigslist and met lots of chill people... only had a problem with weight once. but that just me.... but a buddy of mine was going to donate 2.5oz (max donation) and ran into a cop that took the meds cash and his card so he was left with nothing. also ive seen people posting ads pissed with some guys who possed as care givers and took there 2K$ and ran... ohh and also a guy who i always met up with made sure he never delt with black people ( he would ask every time some one new text what race they are) because his last 3-4 times he met up with black people they pulled guns on him and tried to rob him. he showed me a picture of a bullet hole in his truck right below the driver window so please BE CAREFUL

Ok close ur eyes and imagine this..
I keep my card in my wallet as I'm sure most people with the plastic card do... Just imagine loosing said wallet.. Has my name addy
And varification numbers... A lot of times people will send a pic of the card for u to verify them... But it isn't them it's a ripper...
I used to donate cuts on there and after a few meet ups I started thinking hey I could get hurt doing this, so just be carefull man I would hate to read a thread or see some shit on the news and it turn out to be you... So please think like a tweaked out crack head and be very Leary of everyone on there...

And to who ever said a bad casual encounter LOL fuckin LOL
That shit made my gut hurt I laughed so hard...

Go with your instincts. As said above in the many good tips. No meetups after dark, with New People, especially in an Urban enviornment. Never meet with anyone with whom you are uncomfortable and ALWAYS talk to someone, not just text - You need to hear the nuances in their voice.. Be in a Public Place. Consider some areas off limits. A Ghetto Personality (OF ANY RACE) is bad news to me. I make up some excuse and bow out NICELY, or make the price a bit higher than I think they will want to pay.. Always. Everything. Polite and Nice.

It usually goes OK. A small network of Friendly People who appreciate your work will stick with you. It may not be necessary to take on anyone else. Less transactions the better, of course.
Be Careful. Cops do solicit, especially the inevitable "Will You Ship to another State" messages. I told one Guy to either MOVE, or buy some Schwag and make bubble hash with Bubble Bags. Study up how to do it, and you will have the best stash of anyone you know.

He said."Thanks, I will have to try that." hahaha. Sounds like a LEO to me. Prob should have shut up, and not given away our secrets.

Cops in Colorado are using CL to pop small time dealers. A64 authorizes NO sales whatsoever and 1284 took care of the med side for patient-to-patient sales.

beware

Word your ad for the type of audience you are trying to reach. In the past, I worded things specifically that if they got as far as to make contact, the 'weeding' process was nearly done, and that the audience contacting me weren't the undesirable type.

For example, if you list your varieties and donations, and you receive an email asking said questions. Or if your ad states... Medication on Hand, reply with first name, phone number, and best time to call and their response differs, they are likely going to fuck up something else... pass.

Don't list your number. Get theirs. Google it. Also google their email address. You're trying to prove they are REAL to the best of your ability. If they've made a throwaway email or passed a google voice number, pass. The more they try to hide, the more I worry. It's all about consistency in their 'story' they give you along with their general demeanor on email and then phone.

Make small talk. See if they're a bullshitter or a kid. Avoid those. If the small talk sounds like the same newbie crap you hear from new patients, they are probably legit.

Ive had no problems, I dont dontate small amounts 1oz to 4oz.no nickle and dime. I set the place and time. Not them, keeps setups to a minimun. Always verify. I try amd throw some small talk out there to see whats up. I like to roll up with a joint or bowl burning, hand it to them as I search for my bag, make sure they hit it couple times. I like to take a friend with me. Always talk over the phone, no text. Other then a pic of thier card that was sent to pre verify. Use common sence and good judgement before meeting someone, if something slightly off to you, do go. Not worth it. It will sell just give it a bit. I like to search their email and phone numbers, usually the email will turn up there facebook, ill check it out and usually by then feel confident its gonna be all good, and just incase it doesnt, ihave all there FB info on kids, wife, family friends. Good luck stay safe make the proper calls and youll be good
