how do u guys run ur rooms in the winter...

what do u guys change for the cold winters? anyone take out aircooled or glass? slow down ur exhaust fans? or use some of the exhaust to keep the room heated?

anyone have a way.. to keep my room warmer during lites off?
ok so anyways.. with lights on my room runs at 70-76 and lights off temps are from 60-63 .. now that its gotten very cold outside. im trying to figure out a way to keep my lights off temps up.. a little. without having 1 room run during day.. and 1 run during the night.. the 2 rooms are side by side with adoor inbetween them.. so i run them exact same timing so there is no light leaks from small room to big room..

im going to be flipping a 3rd room into flower that i will run during the day.. to help with the temps.. buttt its only a 400w and with it on 24/7 right now.. it doesnt keep the room hot enough..

so anyways to understand i have 3 rooms inside of 1 big room in the basement.. so.. the lung room needs to be heated up a little bit.. and i dont wana run any space heaters or any other thing that could make it anymore dangerous.

its just wierd because i wana fucking get great results but with the low temps im getting slowed growth .. specially wen its 60 degrees.. i dont get it but i guess its happening!

Put a quality heater on a UTC-1 or similar heating/cooling controlling device, set and forget.

You have to time your rooms to come on opposite cycles so one is on at all times vent into the other room or lung room just fix any light leaks

Heaters. veg room venting into flower room. electric, propane(doubles as co2). Theres no getting around heat-its needed.Plants slow down to a crawl without it. Transpiration,photosythesis and such grind to a halt. depends how big your room is. How big is the area? For a small closet a space heater will work. For a large,say 12x12 room, youll need supplement heat. I use or used propane heater. depending on the size of the heater,20lb tank lasts 7-10 days. keep all propane tanks outside if possible.Check all lines,fittings with soap and water. recheck a day later. recheck again.flop 2 rooms place a u bent tubing through the wall and recirculate the heat. takes time, patience and troubleshooting.

Radiator heaters are cheap and efficient. I got one for $30 and it heats a 2 car garage well.

i was just asking to see if anyone maybe did anything like instead of using 2 6in high output fans to cool the 2 flower rooms.. if i should put a y there.. use 1 fan and suck the airout for exhaust.. because i need the night temps up.. and the day temps could go up a few points. too.. but im going to be turning the veg room thats a 400w to a 1000w flower room soon. so with exhausting all of it .. ill have a serious set up .. but i dont wana have heat problems so im lookin at all options.

I have an electronic damper controlled by a thermostat for my intake, only pulling in cool air from outside when I need it. otherwise i just run another room in the winter
