how do i power axail/ muffin fans

I just bought 2 3' and a 4' muffin fan and $40 ac/dc adapters to power them but they wont work , what do I use to power these fans ?

the info on the 3' is AC110/120V 50/60Hz
0.21/0.20AMPS

and the 4' is AC110/120V 50/60Hz
0.21/0.20AMPS

and the adapter is a class 2 power supply
input: 100-240V 47-63 Hz 0.7A
output: 6,7.5,9,12 V 2500mA

Your fans are 120 volt, so you need a cord like this.
