how do i fill in my scrog?

Im confused about growing under a scrog. I grow in a 4x4 space and my strain stretches about 2x.

Now how do i go about filling up the screen..

Do i get the cannopy to 2x2... then in flower the 2x stretch will grow out to the full 4x4?

I really dont want any wasted space.

it depends on the strain. i was just looking at a thread with a guy running a side by side with a scrog filled in every hole versus a scrog that has a bit of space to allow air flow. both turned out very well and the plants in the lighter scrogged set up looked better than the ones that were tightly packed. they must have gotten better light in the lighter scrogged setup. neither looked to have PM. i am filling out my scrog right now and am planning to flip in about a week or so. one of my plants is said to triple in size so this should get interesting.
