How dark for 12 12????

Sorry.. Kind of a mix of questions..

Talking about Non Auto Fem's..

When you switch from 12 12 or even start at 12 12, do the plants still go through several weeks of Veg before flowering starts? On avg about how long in Veg?(I know it can depend on a lot of factors)

And when you are at 12 12.. Does it have to be 100% complete darkness during the 12 off.??? So like if your running a Cab or PC do you have to be 100% light proof?? Or if you had some very small seems or cracks would that be ok as long as its very small.. Not talking about sun light getting in but just like room light etc?

You should allow no light to get in there during your dark cycle. Some times light leaks occur and plant response is typically determined by what strain you are running.

My question for u is how dark is dark? Lol autos it don't matter I have even had an auto that blomed on 24hr light. The hole way, it was bomb. I wish auto would allow clones

hi i grew northern lights in homebox 200 BY 100 BY 100 and i had the ventilation latches on all sides open for air intake ,the lights run at night and during day time i left this latches open ,noob mistake hahahahahahaah ,so light came inside for sure maybe i had o flower a bit longer but from 5 girls 90 cm tall ,i get 500g dry smoke so if there is really little light its ok no problems ,now i have stealth closet so i know

Doesn't actually have to he pitch black; I used to be able to see enough to walk around in my rooom with the lights off and there was no problem, they still flowered.
Don't forget outside on a full moon night it can be quite bright, and they flower under those conditions.

Dark means dark. You are not outside. Dont think u can pick and chose which parts of OD you mimic?? When can reproduce the suns intensity then maybe some moonlite is not so bad.
