How close to the mother?

How close do clones resemble the mother, I have 10 jack Herer clones that are 11 inches, right now, I can,t decide if I want to flower now. From seed the Jack Herer were flowered at 13inches and finished at 4 to 5 feet. What should I expect from the clones? Thanks

Now that thoese 2 are out of the way, can ANYONE answer my question? I know it the same Damn gene. Thats was not and is NOT the question. Please only growers that know.

You should expect the SAME thing from the mother plant....

SO, if you flowered at 13" and it finished at 4' then expect that...

I would say the height would be close to the same, but don't think all cuts will be identical to the mother in structure.A single tip cut will be more sparse when flowered than a dual or tri tipped cut if'n you know what I mean.

Normally cuts taken from the the bottom have only a sigle growtip whereas cuts taken from higher up or near the top may have multiple growtips.I like multiple growtip cuts, they develop into stout little bushes pretty quickly. When I said structure of the finished product I was referring to this aspect,I like to take mutiple growtip cuts and top them after a week or so under flo's,then move to HID's.I end with a plant nearly as wide as it is tall which is difficult with a single growtip cutting even with topping fimming or tying down

He,s just talking about topping your plant, The Herer will do better untopped, My clones all look good, going 12/12 tonight , Thanks to all, but the first two!

There will be SOME difference in the growing characteristics of a plant from seed and its clone. Since a clone is biologically mature tissue, they can be flowered as soon as they root, like for SOG. I've been surprised at times by the phenotypical differences between mother plant and clone.

Cheers!

I'm not talking about topping the plant,I'm talking about rooting a cut with 2 or more growtips. Then topping the plant after a time.
