How can I identify my plant strain?

I don't know what kind of seed it was it was all by itself in some smoke I bought. Needless to say it's a 9 foot plant, grown outdoors.
Should I continue to try to match buds and leaf with pictures everyone has submitted? It looks like a hash plant but I can't tell for sure till my buds are more developed and thicker, it just started and two months left to grow. Please offer any help or your techniques. Thanks pictures to follow in the next couple days.

Its real hard to say...mostly you can only tell if its sativa or indica dominant. When you see other peoples pics you gotta make sure you are growing the same style and the same conditions plus what phenotype it is.. You can grow a pack of 10 seeds of the same strain and get 10 phenos that all look different and finish at different times...for example some super silver hazes finish in 8 weeks while others can take 14 or more weeks

And even then, it will only be an educated guess. There are simply too many strains and crosses to know. Also if you got it out of a bag, it could be a seed pollinated by feral hemp....no way at all to tell the other 1/2 of the genetics, the part the pollen came from. Watch out that it doesn't hermie though as there is the distinct possibility that this could have selfed.

It is an exercise in futility to try and match bud and leaf to others' pictures. You are not going to be able to tell at a later date either when the buds are more developed thicker. There is no way to tell strain from looking at a plant....except Duckfoot.....can't think of another totally unique strain.

blueberry is pretty over-named, anything that has a fruity tone could be labeled blueberry and charge $10 more an eighth, or organic....imho-basket

wasnt saying it was the grail just with the twisted leaves and smell and taste you know its blueberry. you wont know how pure it is tho.i got tired of it years ago. but might run it again

Don't worry about identifying it. Just enjoy it. The name means almost nothing once it's planted unless you're planning on moving it (or perhaps breeding to it, but even that's more of an art based on specific phenotypes than an exact science of heritage). You'll quickly figure out the taste and effect profile on your own once you start smoking it. There are so many phenotypes out there. Even a 10 pack of well-bred seeds will show a good bit of variance, as others have already noted.
